Pursuant to our research, Elmon Tax Specialists (formerly STRIVEN Tax Specialists) was formed to be the synergy of tax, law, accounting, and corporate governance, uniquely designed to offer lasting business solutions to our clients.
Clothed with legal background, SARS in-house experience, and the understanding of socio-political environment, the firm navigates through day-to-day obstacles to provide specialised and unique advice to its clients on a wide range tax and commercial issues.
Mandla Mngomezulu
Responsible for the provision of commercial tax, tax-related advisory, and best practice consulting, Mandla Mngomezulu has over two decades of experience in tax law. His specialist skillset assists Elmon clients in the improvement of tax structures and his extensive knowledge in all areas of tax law is an invaluable asset to the Elmon team.
Mandla developed his talent and horned his skills as a tax specialist at South African Revenue Services (SARS), holding the positions of Legal Advisor, Specialist Legal Advisor and Legal Manager in his 12 years at SARS. During this time, he built up a valuable arsenal of specialist skills in areas of management, strategy, tax litigation, drafting and legal tax support.
His considerable influence on the SARS legal team was recognised in 2008 and 2010 when he was awarded a certificate for Initiative, Commitment and Innovation at SARS.The highly qualified, Mandla is an Attorney of South Africa since 2003 and holds an LLB Degree (UKZN), and a LLM (Master’s degree in Commercial Law (UNISA). Mandla is a founder and a Managing Director of Elmon Tax Specialists.
